The night of Halloween is the perfect day to spend the night after the customary dressing up in horrible costumes and trick-or-treating watching horror movies with your friends as you huddle together under a blanket, trying not to scream whenever a sudden shadow or dislodged arm appears on screen. So dare and see how much you can take. For the real fun, let yourself scream with the moments of the movie and let the adrenaline rush take over you. Here are some of the movies that we suggest:

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas - Nominated for 'Best Visual Effects at Academy Awards, this 1993 Tim Burton animation is a visual and musical treat. However, everything goes wrong for all his goblins and ghouls know to use as decorations is raw meat and dripping blood.
  • The Witches - Released in 1990, it's based on the story of Roald Dahl and is the last flick produced by Jim Henson. Luke overhears them only to be turned to a mouse with a purpose of making an escape, alerting his grandmother and turn back to a human.
  • James and the Giant Peach - Released in 1996, a Disney flick with a combination of live action and amazing animation, it is a story about recently orphaned boy known as James.
